這才是真正的「太陽的後裔」﹗

        沒看過《V 型電磁俠》（1977），主題曲倒是相當熟識，堀江美都子每次來香港開演唱會，我都一定買票捧場，卻想不到原來這首歌在菲律賓是有如此政治意味，有些香港人今天嘲笑「今天我……」這句經典歌詞，菲律賓人可未必會覺得「地球の夜明けは もうちかい」有多離地，數年前 Talented Filipino 節目（https://youtu.be/4ZbN29Hg7EI），參賽者一唱《V 型電磁俠之歌》，可是全場歡呼，振奮莫名呢﹗好吧，大家一齊高叫︰「天空劍．V 字斬﹗」破狼滅鼠，蕩妖除魔﹗

        瑪麗〈人人識唱卡通歌〉︰「早前日本電視台在街頭訪問了一班外國遊客，看他們懂得唱哪一首日本卡通歌……，電視台訪問了 88 個在日本的菲律賓人，當中竟然有 88 個都懂得唱《V 型電磁俠之歌》，令日本人大為驚訝……《V 型電磁俠》日文原名 Voltes V，是 1977 年的日本機械人動畫，1978 年於菲律賓首次演出，是當地第一次播出同類卡通，對當地小朋友來說非常新奇，創出最高 58% 的收視紀錄，但就在播出大結局前一刻，當時的馬可斯政府突然宣布禁播。……當時社會普遍認為禁播的原因是卡通的內容。原來《V 型電磁俠》講述 5 個少年為阻止外星人侵略，駕駛合體機械人並成功推翻獨裁政權，因為政治原因而禁播大結局，令到粉絲吊癮，因此印象更深。終於在 1986 年，馬可斯政權被推翻後，電視台馬上再次播出《V 型電磁俠》，並掀起熱潮。主題曲也成了人人都識唱的熱門歌，街頭演出、合唱團表演甚至電視台歌唱比賽都有人唱《V 型電磁俠之歌》。《V 型電磁俠之歌》的日本主題曲原唱者堀江美都子甚至因而『升呢』為菲律賓最受歡迎的日本歌手，堀江美都子此後多次到菲律賓演出，場場爆滿，大賺披索之餘並受到國賓級款待。」（《信報》【潮網熱話】，2016-05-05）

        原來今天是「國際抱貓日」（National Hug Your Cat Day）。我沒養貓，沒貓抱，唯有貼明星抱貓照，以示參與。不能不引用的，自然是女神瑪麗蓮夢露，她的名言，既是說貓狗，也是自況︰“I like animals. If you talk to a dog or a cat, it doesn’t tell you to shut up.” 對，你愛貓，貓也許會鬧脾氣，也許會不揪睬，可不會無故消失，教人傷心、猜疑的。（2016-05-30）

       手機世代，機不離手，似乎已是無法逆轉的事實，美國 AMC 院線正考慮「順應」時代（香港暫未跟隨），不再禁止觀眾使用手機，引起廣泛批評。我是極討厭看電影時遭手機光騷擾的，這既不尊重同場的觀眾，也不尊重電影本身，何況時常分心，又怎能品味電影之趣？不過 AMC 也有解釋，此舉尚未落實，而且也許會另有措施，例如只劃分院內某區域容許用手機云云。這其實是另一個課題了︰網絡與 AV 器材發達，許多人已不再到戲院看電影，寧願在家看電視熒幕甚至手提電話小屏幕，儘管我認同小畫面根本無法展現電影的真正力量，但此趨勢確實難以改變，故影院為求生存，紛紛想出新的享受方式，甚麼 4D 影院乃至可同時享受熱水浴的座位，也間有聽聞，手機專區已不是甚麼奇特之事，不知道大家又怎麼看呢？US cinema chain AMC set to allow customers to text during films（via BBC News，2016-04-16）

        以我僅得中七程度的數理知識，這段 “How To Count Past Infinity＂，當然看得頗為吃力，只看一遍短片，要我複述當中內容，更不可能，但整個觀看和思量的過程，實在很過癮，雖然由始到終都不能說「理解」，然而動動腦袋，跳進抽象世界，正好是睡前（？）的最佳活動。事實上，這短片的說明也算得簡明清晰，像我這樣欠根基的人，也勉強能夠跟進，而當中關於 scientific theories 與 mathematical axioms 的關係的描述，亦不無啟發。有趣的是，這短片越到後段，配樂就越像驚悚片，哈哈，不知怎地，想像「無限」，有時感覺就像看電影《2001 太空漫遊》那段令人神迷目眩的宇宙穿越，因為不了解，因為未知，所以神秘，崇敬與恐懼也就此而生。咦？等等，原來我昨晚看漏了最後一小節︰ω + 1 不等於 1 + ω，嗯，原來如此啊。

真正最強。

         “Why do all old statues have such small penises?” by ELLEN︰“There are two main reasons why ancient Greek statues have small penises: Firstly, they're flaccid. If you compare their size to most flaccid male penises, they are actually not significantly smaller than real-life penises tend to be. Secondly, cultural values about male beauty were completely different back then. Today, big penises are seen as valuable and manly, but back then, most evidence points to the fact that small penises were considered better than big ones. One of the reasons historians, such as Kenneth Dover in his landmark book Greek Homosexuality, have suggested that small penises were more culturally valued is that large penises were associated with very specific characteristics: foolishness, lust and ugliness.
